Wattignies has 3 memorials:

  • the memorial for the 2 world war victims. Soldiers and civilians from the village are honored on this monument.
  • the memorial for British bombers' crew crashed at Wattignies after German attack while coming back from raid during the Second World War. The monument was inaugurated by French and British authorities in October 1993 during commemorations of the battle of Wattignies.
  • the 1793 battle of Wattignies memorial which was inaugurated in 1893
